The 1970 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible: A Classic Beauty Unleashed
This 1970 Pontiac Bonneville convertible is done in green with tan vinyl upholstery and has a 455ci V8 engine coupled to a three-speed automatic transmission. A push-button AM radio, air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, 15-inch Rally II-style wheels, tilt steering column, power windows, and a power-operated tan convertible top are among the features.

It is reported that the vehicle underwent restoration before being purchased by the present owner in 2008. This convertible Bonneville is currently available in Delaware as a dealer consignment vehicle with PHS paperwork, a clean Virginia title, and a reproduction window sticker.

Its green finish is claimed to have been repainted under a prior owner’s possession. Features include quad headlamps, side moldings, rear fender skirts, a chrome grille and bumpers, and a power-operated tan convertible top. There is a tear and stains on the convertible top.

Hankook Optimo H724 white-stripe tires are mounted on 15-inch Rally II-style wheels with PMD center caps. Power-assisted front discs and rear drums provide braking, and the vehicle has power steering.

The dashboard and door panels of the cabin are embellished with faux woodgrain decor, and there are two rows of bench seats with tan vinyl upholstery. Air conditioning, electric windows, rubber floor mats with the Pontiac logo, retractable front lap belts, and an AM radio with a push button are among the features.

The fuel level gauge and speedometer at 120 mph are mounted on the three-spoke steering wheel, which has an aftermarket wrap. The mechanical odometer, with five numbers, indicates 5,000 miles, about 6,000 of which were added during the present owner’s tenure. We don’t know the total mileage.

The 455ci V8 was factory rated at 360 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque and features a four-barrel carburetor and a blue-finished engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

The window sticker reproduction features factory specs, colors, and delivery information to Murphy-Graef Pontiac located in Troy, Ohio. The sale also includes the Pontiac Historic Services documentation that is seen in the gallery below.
